- Matthew Woodley spoke as a panelist at the annual Radio and Television News Directors' Association Conference in Edmonton on Saturday, June 19. Matt spoke about emerging legal issues in social media.
- We are very proud to announce that one of our partners, Fred Kozak, has received the Honourary Membership Award from the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADA+C). Honourary Membership is the highest award of the ADA+C, recognizing individuals deemed to have made outstanding contributions to the dental profession at the provincial or national level. The award was presented on May 28, 2010 at the ADA+C Jasper Dental Congress. Congratulations Fred!
- RMRF is sponsoring the 14th Annual Good Walk Golf Tournament hosted by Shepherds Care Foundation. Proceeds from the tournament on June 9th, will be used to enhance the lives of our residents at all Shepherd's Care sites.
- We are proud to be a hole sponsor for the 18th Annual Spirit of Caring Golf Tournament, hosted by The Good Samaritan Society. Proceeds go towards the Close to Home Campaign To Re-Build Stony Plain Care Centre. The tournament is June 10 at the Links golf course.
RMRF is excited to be sponsoring a hole again for the Big Brothers Big Sister 9th Annual Golf Tournament. The proceeds go towards building positive futures for the children of our community. The tournament is August 26 at Cougar Creek.

- Julie Gagnon and Matthew Woodley spoke at the Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA) seminar, as a part of LESA's Advocacy Series. " Matthew presented on April 20th, on the "Final Argument- The Last Chance to Persuade". Julie will be presenting on May 19th, 2010 for the session on "Motions- How to Succeed in Chambers. All sessions are held at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton.
- Congratulations to one of our partners, Fred Kozak. In January 2010 he began a 2 year term as President of the Canadian Media Lawyers Association.
- Tim Mavko chaired and Matt Woodley instructed a training program for the Legal Education Society of Alberta called Civil Litigation - The Final Argument. This day-long continuing education program for lawyers washeld April 15, 2010 in Calgary and April 22, 2010 in Edmonton.
