- Donald C. I. Lucky will be speaking on the topic "Ensuring On Time and In Budget Project Delivery: Effective Risk Management Strategies Through-out the Project Life-Cycle" at the 2012 Construction Superconference held in Calgary, Alberta on January 24, 2012.
- Congratulations to Maya C. Gordon for being called to the bar in December 2011. Maya completed her articles at RMRF and is now an associate with the firm.
- Francis C. R. Price, Q.C has been appointed as co-chair of the 2012 Labour Arbitration and Policy Conference. The conference will be held in Calgary from May 30 - 31, 2012.
- Congratulations to Ian Hanson and Melissa Fleck for being called to the bar this year. Ian and Melissa both completed their articles at RMRF, and then became associates with the firm.

The Law Society of Alberta has announced that Francis C. R. Price, Q.C. is this year's recipient of the Law Society's Award for Distinguished Service to the Community. Award winners are chosen based on their outstanding contributions to the community, to the profession, to legal scholarship and pro bono legal service.
Congratulations to E. (Sonny) Mirth, Q.C. on being selected by his peers as the "Edmonton Best Lawyers Real Estate Lawyer of the Year" for 2011.
