  • Sonny Mirth will be participating in this year's Schizophrenia Society Open Minds Walk & Run on September 12. This is a major fundraiser for the Schizophrenia Society and RMRF has participated for over 20 years. For more information, click here.

  • RMRF is a hole sponsor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters 9th Annual Golf Tournament. The funds raised at this event help to improve the lives of thousands of children through positive mentorship programs.

  • We are proud to be a gold sponsor for the 6th Annual "Mercier Shanker" Golf Tournament, which is Sept. 2nd at the Windermere Golf & Country Club. Money is being raised to go to research for Parkinson's disease.

  • Lawyers from RMRF are participating in the "Habitat for Humanity Project". We will be assisting in building houses in Edmonton for those in need and are proud to be helping out a wonderful venture.

  • Matthew Woodley is participating in the Enerflex MS Walk in support of Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Alberta and Northwest Territories division. This event will be taking place on May 16, 2010 and starts at Sir Winston Churchill Square. For more information, click here.

  • Jeremy Taitinger is participating in the Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer's Hockey Tournament, taking place in St.Albert, on April 9th through 11th. This event raises funds for the Gordie and Colleen Howe Fund for Alzheimer's, in association with the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and the Northwest Territories. For more information, click here.

  • RMRF is proud to be a Gold Level Sponsor at this year's University of Alberta's Law Show 2010. This year's show will help to benefit the Alberta Council of Women's Shelters. This event took place on January 15 and 16, 2010.

  • RMRF is a proud sponsor of the charity cocktail party "The SnowBall". This event occured November 19th, 2009 and raised money for the Alberta Cancer Foundation and is in its seventh year of fund-raising.  Previous year's fundraiser raised $11,000 for the Cross Cancer Institute's 'Patient Wish List', purchasing much needed pressure relieving mattresses at the Cross. 

  • Wes Pedruski participated in CIBC's Run for the Cure, which took place on October 4, 2009. Click Here.

  • On September 20, 2009, E. Sonny Mirth participated in the Schizophrenia Society Fundraiser Walk/Run. Click Here.

  • On August 12, 2009, Support Staff, Students, and Lawyers took part in volunteer efforts for Habitat for Humanity. Click Here.

  • On June 12, 2009, Shelly Chamaschuk continued her support for the YESS Society, by participating in "Homeless for a night" Fundraising event.

  • Amber Lafitte took part in the Tails on the Trails fundraiser for the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) on June 6, 2009.

  • Kasanda Medlock participated in the Heart & Stroke Foundation Big Bike Fundraiser on May 21, 2009.

  • RMRF was honoured to host a dinner service at Edmonton's Mustard Seed Church, on March 9, 2009. Staff volunteered and successfully served upwards of 350 guests.
