Randy's regulatory experience has included many appearances before the Alberta Utilities Commission and its predecessors, intervening in utility rate cases on behalf of residential, small business, municipal and other end-use customers. He has negotiated and prepared numerous agreements with utilities on behalf of end-use customers. In addition, Randy has his CFE designation and his commercial fraud litigation experience has included obtaining and executing private search warrants and freezing assets and bank accounts. He has worked with the RCMP, Edmonton Police Service - Economic Crime Unit, the Special Prosecutions branch, and a number of forensic accountants in realization on fraud claims. He has appeared before all levels of the Courts of Alberta, the Real Estate Agents' Licensing Board, and the Development Appeal Board. He has given seminars on a variety of regulatory issues (electric, water and gas), commercial fraud topics and creditor's rights and remedies.
