University of Alberta 1999 - Admitted to the Alberta Bar PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Nick carries on a general civil litigation practice with an emphasis on municipal, regulatory, corporate and construction law litigation. Nick has appeared before all levels of Alberta Courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. Nick also appears regularly before the Land Compensation Board on expropriation cases and the Alberta Utilities Commission on utility regulation hearings. Nick is currently the President (North) of the Alberta Expropriation Association. He frequently writes articles and presents seminars on municipal law topics. Nick spent four years practicing constitutional law with the office of the Attorney General of Alberta.
